I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 9 years of experience in the hospice, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings. I received my M.S.S. from Bryn Mawr College in 2012 and have had my license in clinical social work since 2014.
During graduate school, I practiced in internships in the hospice and partial hospitalization settings. After completing my studies, I was hired as a social worker in a partial hospitalization program where I had practiced for my second year internship. I continued to work in that setting until December 2016. During that time I also provided clinical supervision to all unlicensed social workers in that setting as they worked toward earning their licenses.
I have been seeing clients in an outpatient setting since 2015 and see a variety of clients ranging across all ages and diagnoses. This includes but is not limited to ADHD and behavioral issues in school/home, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. I enjoy working with couples and families to improve family dynamics and interpersonal communication.
I have received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as part of my ongoing education process since earning my graduate degree. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, working with clients to assist them in processing their experiences and generating solutions to challenges they are facing.
